Been gone for some time
Ok ok.... So I've been gone for a really long time. Just didn't feel the need to blog anymore. Also because I've become painfully busy all this time. With projects and examinations up to the beginning of May. Now exams are out and I must say it was a truely disappointing ordeal. I did worst that I have ever done in my entire NUS life. The reasons? Coz the modules were bascially harder than before. Also the difficult part was this particular module was marked lower than the the entire cohort because of a stringent prof.... Starting to be disappointed with this entire NUS system... Big bueracracy which says that it is far and want to listen to feedback but in the end the results are unfair and when you try to give your 2 cents worth they try to "counsel you" to "get over it and move on".... Oh well.... I guess life is like that huh....
But I think I kind of learnt much about life in the process... i realised that there are 3 ways of dealing with crisis in your life.
1) Run away and pretend that it didn't happen
2) Try to be optimistic and hope for a better tomorrow
3) Trust God that all He is still in control of your life and surrender to Him
I think the 3rd option is the hardest but also the best of them all. The first is plane escapist and denial. The 2nd places your faith in something called "tomorrow". But you know sometimes "tomorrow" just doesn't come. The 3rd places your trust in someone unchanging, everpresent , omnipotent and most important of all ever loving. I learning to take option 3 now. But it's not a resignation and giving up. On the contrary, its trying harder. But as an act of surrender and sacrifice to honour Him.
